This four day Tsavo and Amboseli safari is a perfectly planned Kenya safari taking you on a visit to three amazing Kenya safari destinations that is Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli National Parks. Tsavo National Parks are famous for being the habitat of the red elephants and man eating lions,  the parks are also a home to other  wildlife species such as buffaloes, leopards, waterbucks and among others which you will encounter during your visit in the parks.
Another tremendous Kenya safari destination during this 4 day Safari is Amboseli National Park. This park is a scenic national park endowed with the famous background of the snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro; the highest mountain on the African continent. Amboseli is famously known for hosting large herds of elephants with impressive tusks and other animals such as gazelles, common elands, buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs and many more making this an amazing Safari experience.

Day One

  • Early pick up from your hotel and depart to Tsavo East via the Bachuma gate and proceed on a game drive until 12:30hrs.
  • Arrive at Voi Wildlife Lodge in time for check in and lunch.
  • Afternoon is spent at leisure enjoying the lodge facilities.
  • At 16:00Hrs, meet with your driver and proceed on an evening game drive until 18:00hrs. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day Two

  • Early breakfast followed by check out, and then proceed on a game drive en route to Voi gate.
  • Drive on Mombasa-Nairobi highway via Emali through the beautiful landscape of the Yatta Plateau to Amboseli.
  • Arrive in time for check in and lunch.
  • Afternoon game drive in Amboseli followed by dinner and overnight at AMBOSELI SERENA

Day Three

  • Early morning game drive followed by breakfast.
  • After breakfast, check out and then drive to Tsavo West National Park.
  • Arrive in time for check in and lunch.
  • Afternoon game drive Tsavo West with a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary.
  • Dinner and overnight at SERENA KILAGUNI.

Day Four

  • Early morning game drive with a visit to the Mzima Springs followed by breakfast.
  • After breakfast, check out and proceed to your coastal hotel in Mombasa.

What to wear and pack for Safaries

  • Loose comfortable clothing preferably in earth colours
  • Smart casual clothes for the evening
  • Suncream and Hats
  • Swimwear. Check with your Rep if your safari accommodation has a swimming pool
  • Trainers, Walking Shoes or Sandals that you can strap down
  • Warm clothes for the early morning and evening, especially in the Masai Mara
  • Water
  • Camera. The majority of lodges have electricity to recharge your camera
  • Mosquito Repellant
  • Binoculars
  • Tipping is optional - Going rate is 10$ per person per day

Kenya Safari Season

The weather in Kenya is good for safaris at all times of year, though there is a greater chance of encountering rain from mid-April to the end of May and in November.
Some people like to travel in these 'rainy' months when dramatic cloud formations gather over the Mara plains, there is a sense of refreshment and grasslands are carpeted in new flowers. Daily temperatures are influenced by altitude, so in the higher areas like Samburu you need a fleece for the cool early morning drives, but by 9am this is discarded as temperatures rise to the high 20s. After a delicious lunch you take a siesta during the warm early afternoon with temperatures in the low 30s.
Head out on safari around 4pm as it gets cooler and the animals start moving, remembering to take the fleece for when the sun has dipped below the horizon.

Weather is more a consideration at the coast, so don't visit the Kenya coast from the first week of April to the first few days of June as the rains are heavier in coastal areas.
At all other times of year the Kenya coast weather is warm, gently humid and breezy, at its very best from late November through to March.
